The Last Door Chapter 4 Walkthrough
The Last Door. The Last Door is an episodic psychological horror point-and-click adventure game developed and published by The Game Kitchen for the Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux platforms. As of January 2016, eight episodes have been released. The last thing that you must do here is to take the beam and open the door. Use one of the two containers on the ground to open the door - Chapter 4.
A final episode can be started with one of eight combinations of characters - the following guide is illustrated basing on starting lineup: Lee, Kenny, Omid and Christa (Lee told them that he was bitten), so all available characters (in this case Ben wasn't saved in the episode IV). The talos principle deception. In appropriate places in the text we've included also screens and comments related to the situation when a starting group is different.
The episode begins where the previous one has ended - in the morgue, where Vernon and his group were hiding. Unfortunately, they have left this place in a hurry. Clementine's walkie 'speaks' again, but it turns out, that it is not a Vernon who kidnapped her.
The beginning conversation is the same as the one which the previous episode ended with. It was cut in a moment, when Lee was supposed to answer kidnapper's question. Now we can hear the answer.
1. 'Clementine's fine. But if I were you, I'd choose my next words VERY carefully.'
(1): Please, don't hurt her. | Kidnapper answers that he is not the one who hurts people and he thanks God, that you both are separated by an ocean of deaths. |
(2): You're fucking DEAD! | Kidnapper answers that he knows that, same as Clementine does. |
(3): What do you want from me? | Kidnapper answers that he wants Lee not to hurt anyone anymore. |
(4): .. | Kidnapper says that this is a right choice - if you have nothing nice to say, better say nothing at all. |
A choice in the next dialogue(s) has no affect on further events. Kenny tries to cheer up Lee and after a moment others will join the conversation. Omid looks at Lee's wound and Christa asks about how he feels (all know about the bite).
2. 'How's that feeling?'
(1): Fine. | They will remember that. |
(2): Doesn't matter. | They will remember that. |
(3): Not great. | They will remember that. |

After a while attention will focus on zombie breaking inside. Kenny closes the door and order Lee to find another exit from the room (if Lee is here only with Ben, he can encourage him a bit).
Inside the morgue you find few objects: you can look at Coolers - Kenny will make a joke about a tunnel, Operating Table or Scale hanging in the center.
But more interesting objects can be found on the right side of the morgue. These are SurgicalSupplies lying on the table and Cabinets over the table, which can be opened.
A left and a right cabinets are empty, but inside the middle one Lee will find a Rib Spreader - take it.
Once you get the tool, go to the right of the morgue. You'll get to the Elevator - look at it. Lee informs his friends that he has found an exit and opening the elevator shouldn't take long. You'll fail if you try to open the Elevator, same as shooting at it. The only possible option is using Rib Spreader onElevator. After that use crank it to open the door.
Alcahest snes. Unfortunately, during this operation Lee starts losing his consciousness and the last picture he sees is his bitten arm.
Back to living is not most pleasant - Lee hears voices of his companions, according to which 'something' must be done. This something is a try to cut off his arm - choose any dialog option to abort the operation (if Lee is alone, he will just wake up next to the table).
Listen to the conversation of your friends, wondering if cutting off the limb will stop the infection. Of course the final decision is yours. Options 'Let's do it.' moves directly to the final choice - the other two allow a longer chat with companions.
Notice: If you didn't tell, that you were bitten, a people accompanying you will notice this now, making a 'scene'. You can apologize that you didn't tell them, but the dialogue options you choose do not matter.
[TOUGH DECISION #1]
- You decide to cut off the arm 'This is going to hurt'
- You leave the arm uncut
Choose the proper dialogue option:
(1): Fuck it. Cut it off. | You decided to cut off the arm |
(2): No. We leave it. | You decided not to cut off the arm |
Notice 1: If Lee is alone, he can cut off the arm by himself - in order to do this, use the previously mentioned Surgical Supplies lying on the table. In this case the final choice is done in a dialogue 'Remove arm. / Walk away.' after clicking on surgical tools. After that you'll have to cut off your arm (Chop:Arm 4 times).
Notice2: If Lee is only with Ben, Ben will panic and you'll have to cut off the arm on your own (Ben will pass out during the operation).
Notice 3: Cutting off the arm doesn't really have a major impact on the course of further events. Stump will be noticed by encounters characters and Lee can also pass out due to infection.
Choose any option in a dialogue before cutting of the arm, as well as in next two during the brutal operation, after which Lee will pass out again (if Christa and Kenny are in your group, despite his initial courage, Kenny will panic and Christa will have to do the bloody job).
You'll wake up on the floor with bandaged stump and the rest of group will join you after a moment. Choose any option in the next dialogue after which you'll get to the opened elevator shaft.
In the case when you didn't cut off your arm, you have to go to the elevator and again Crank a Rib Spreader.
After the while all characters climb up the ladder - you'll take control over Lee and will have to press a proper key to continue climbing. At some point an undead will fall down from the top - no one gets hurt and a dialogue option you choose doesn't matter.
If Lee didn't agree to cut off his arm, a moment later he will pass out and hang on his feet with his head down.

After regaining consciousness and choosing any dialogue option, grab a Rung when you gain control over character.

Keep climbing until you reach hospital's rooftop.
